Nowhere in the listing did it say it was plywood. In fact, when it mentions the "hollowed-out area" it makes you think it was actually "hollowed-out" of solid wood, not differently-shaped layers glued together. Not that you should use something with epoxy resin for a cutting board anyway, but these being plywood I certainly can't use them for the high-end gift ideas I had in mind. I will have to now go a different direction with them and just give them to less discerning people. Also, when it says "Round - 13"" it makes you think the round part is 13". It is not; it is 13" including the handle. So I'm not sending them back based on the inaccurate or misleading description; I will go ahead and use them. But I won't be buying anything else from DIY Craft Warehouse unless I can be certain of what I'm getting (which means: If it's too hard to find answers then I just won't buy).
Edit: DIY Craft Warehouse responded to my review (below) with a professional and helpful reply. Also, the more I thought about it the more I realized I'm a moron for expecting more for $7 a board. The price should have at least been a clue to me to ask them what it was made of before ordering. So it actually is worth 5 stars for what it is (I changed it from 2 stars). And I felt bad for earning points for leaving that sorry review. Thanks for being cool about it.
