Vanilla Content

• This oil contains <0.1% vanillin (including ethyl vanillin).

Fragrances containing vanillin (including ethyl vanillin) may cause finished products to discolor over time. Discoloration is typically faster and more noticeable in high pH products like soap. As a general guideline:

• 1% → light yellow to tan
• 2–3% → medium tan to brown
• Over 5%+ → dark brown to very dark

Actual results will vary based on formula, usage rate, and curing conditions. This is a natural characteristic and does not affect performance. If discoloration is a concern, consider Master Maker Crafts Vanilla Color Guard to significantly slow the discoloration process.

• This 1 oz bottle is packaged in amber glass with a 20/400 black phenolic cap. Consider recycling for a project — wash 3 times with hot water and Dawn dish soap, sterilize, and reuse with a 20/410 fine mist sprayer, pump, or glass dropper.

• Add fragrance as directed by your formula.

• Perform a skin patch test before using in any leave-on application.

Care

• Fragrance oils are sensitive to light, heat, and air.
• Always store unused fragrance oils in glass bottles or metal cans. Plastic may interact with ingredients found in most fragrances (evidenced by plastic bottles becoming distorted).
• Store in a cool, dark place with the cap tightly sealed.
• Some discoloration over time and softening of top notes is normal and doesn't affect overall performance. Partially-filled bottles may fade faster as air takes up more headspace.
• Shelf life is 1–2 years from opening when stored properly.
