Directions

• Prep – Remove lid, pull the container sides to loosen, and invert to release the block; warm the sides with a hair dryer if needed. Cut into 1" pieces.
• Melt & Customize – Melt pieces in a heat-safe container in 15–30 sec bursts, stirring until liquid; don't overheat. Melted soap is hot—avoid splashing. Mix in fragrance or essential oils up to 0.5 oz (1 Tbsp) per pound of soap, staying within IFRA skin-safe limits. Add cosmetic-grade colorant as desired and stir occasionally, as mica and pigments can settle.
• Pour & Mold – Pour into molds and spritz with rubbing alcohol to clear surface bubbles and bond layers. Cool 1–4 hours until fully hardened before unmolding. Don't refrigerate or freeze—this causes sweating.
• Labeling – If selling and using 3% fragrance, copy the ingredient list below and add "Fragrance" just before Sodium Chloride. List any colorant last.
• Troubleshooting – Bubbles or uneven texture? Re-melt slightly hotter, stir well, and re-pour (don't add more fragrance). Lather should be white—colored lather means too much colorant, which can stain. A dusty film can develop from overheating, it is cosmetic and safe to use.
