Directions

  • Determine what product you're making and the maximum fragrance use level recommended by your base manufacturer. This tells you how much fragrance the base will accept.
  • Review the IFRA Certificate for the maximum safe use level for your application category. This tells you the safe use level for the ingredients in the fragrance.
  • Use the lower of the two above percentages — this is your maximum safe use level for what you are making using this fragrance. You can always use less.
  • Add fragrance as directed by your formula.
  • Test in small batches before scaling up.
  • Perform a skin patch test before using in any leave-on application.
  • Maker is responsible for finished product safety and testing.

INCI

  • Label as: Fragrance
  • For soap and cosmetics, fragrance oils are listed as a single term in the ingredient list. This product is protected as a trade secret and individual ingredients are protected from disclosure.
  • Refer to the allergen disclosure on the documents tab for ingredient declarations required on your finished product label.

Care

  • Fragrance oils are sensitive to light, heat, and air.
  • Always store unused fragrance oils in glass bottles or metal cans. Plastic may interact with ingredients found in most fragrances (evidenced by plastic bottles becoming distorted).
  • Store in a cool, dark place with the cap tightly sealed.
  • Some discoloration over time and softening of top notes is normal and doesn't affect overall performance. Partially-filled bottles may fade faster as air takes up more headspace.
  • Shelf life is 1–2 years from opening when stored properly.

Disclaimer

  • This fragrance oil is a raw material for use in finished products by knowledgeable adults practicing Good Manufacturing Practices and appropriate safety protocols.
  • Always use at safe dilution levels in a properly formulated finished product.
  • Never use undiluted on skin.
  • Use in a well-ventilated area; do not use as an inhalant — direct or repeated inhalation of undiluted fragrance oil may cause respiratory damage.
  • Not for ingestion or use in vaping or smoking products.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Avoid use during pregnancy unless cleared by a healthcare provider.
  • Variations in color and clarity may occur due to fragrance composition and aging. This will not affect performance.
